Kiruba Murugaiah, Ph.D.

I founded Kalvi Advisors, LLC as an independent consultancy offering specialized support in education in conflict-affected contexts. My mission is to ensure equitable access to education and to foster effective teaching practices that empower educators and learners alike — particularly where systems have been disrupted by conflict, displacement, or crisis.

My research interrogates the epistemological foundations of education, theorizing how colonial knowledge systems reproduce racial injustice and foreclose epistemic pluralism. This scholarship grounds my consulting practice, bringing rigor and contextual sensitivity to work at the intersection of conflict recovery, equity, and institutional transformation.

I bring over a decade of experience across humanitarian, higher education, and community college contexts.
